Calendar of Events

This is an annual calendar of events taking place on and around the Chesapeake Bay that are water related or related to the Bay's cultural, ecological, or maritime culture.  The calendar includes a wide variety of events including festivals, boat races, boat shows, fishing tournaments, exhibitions, seminars and workshops.

March

March 14 -- Eagle Festival.  Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge.  Children's programs, exhibits, bird walks, demonstrations, displays, and food at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge. 8:00 am to 4:00pm.  More Information.  Cambridge, MD.

March 21 --  Havre de Grace Lions Club Bull, Shrimp and Oyster Roast.  6:00 to 11:00pm.  Havre de Grace Community Center. Havre de Grace, MD.

March 29th -  Sail in the Arts - Spring Plein-Air Painting Event.  Art lovers enjoy watching images take shape on canvas in and around the bayside town of historic Cape Charles. Beach, bayside gazebo, vintage railroad cars, and Victorian architecture are some of the potential subjects. Later that evening have the opportunity to purchase some of the fresh creations right off the easels.  Sale of paintings from 5:00 to 7:00pm.  Cape Charles, VA.
