Visiting Baltimore’s Waterfront
The Inner Harbor is the center of activity for visitors to Baltimore. Baltimore’s harbor connects the city to the Chesapeake Bay. In the Inner Harbor area you’ll find the National Aquarium, the restored U.S. Frigate Constellation, the Maryland Science Museum, Davis Planetarium, and Port Discovery Children’s Museum.
Fort McHenry, where Francis Scott Key wrote the National Anthem is a short water taxi ride away. And the Inner Harbor’s water taxi is an attraction in itself – providing a great way to experience the city from the water while providing easy access to Inner Harbor attractions plus the neighborhoods of Fells Point and Little Italy.
The MLB Baltimore Orioles and NFL Baltimore Ravens play in side by side stadiums that are within walking distance of the Inner Harbor. Game days are always crowded, exciting, and fun. Arrive early and spend some time enjoying the Inner Harbor’s restaurants, shops, and attractions.
The Baltimore Convention Center is located downtown, between the Inner Harbor and the Orioles Park baseball stadium. The address is One Pratt Street. Click here for a good map that shows where the convention center is located in relation to hotels and other downtown Baltimore features.
