August 23 & 24, 2025 – 53rd Annual Seawall Art Show – The Seawall Art Show features works for sale by 85+ artists, a student art show, live entertainment and food. High Street, between Crawford and Court Streets. Free admission. Portsmouth, Virginia.

September 6, 2025 – Portsmouth Paddle Battle – A day of paddle racing fun on the Elizabeth River. Participants ages 15+ can compete in stand up paddle boarding and kayak categories, depending upon age/experience level, Enjoy music + food, drinks, prizes, and special events for children. Proceeds support the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Museum and the Lightship Portsmouth Museum. Held at High Street Landing. Portsmouth, Virginia.
